Surf at Surf Snowdonia

This man-made wave pool is great for beginners and experts alike, who want to give surfing a go in North Wales. Although only a wave pool, don’t expect it to be an easy ride. Waves are still tonnes of fun, and can be very different to regular surfing in the sea.

You can find Surf Snowdonia on the outskirts of Dolgarrog village, which is in the middle of the stunning Welsh countryside surrounded by rolling hills and nature.

Climb The Great Orme

As you enter Llandudno you will instantly be wowed by the enormity of The Great Orme – not only is it great by name but also great by nature. Walking around The Great Orme you will find incredible views across the bay, along the Welsh coastline, towards Snowdonia National Park and even out across the Irish Sea.

You can easily waste the day away exploring the top where you will also find a shop, cafe and visitor centre. If you’re lucky too you may even spot a Kashmiri goat or two.

Be mindful when you are walking around to take a jumper or coat as it can get quite breezy towards the top even on sunnier days.

Zip Lining at Zip World

Forget your average zip-lining and visit Zip World for a real thrill adventure on the world’s fastest zip line. There are different ones to choose from – each equally impressive!

Zip World has a whole host of other attractions to choose from too including the Fforest Coaster, Treetop Nets, Quarry Carts and Slate Caverns.

Trampolining at Bounce Below

Bounce Below is part of Zip World and is something that will have you howling with laughter. For this, you head underground into a cave and bounce away to your heart’s content on trampoline nets that are suspended mid-air. You can explore the different layers through tunnels and there are even slides to go down.
