Caravan Parks Mid WalesIf you’re after a little sojourn away from the day to day or just want to explore your local, a trip to caravan parks mid Wales could be just the thing to do with many activities suitable for the family in the nearby areas.

One of the more stunning regions in the United Kingdom, mid Wales is sandwiched between the north and the south which although both are more popular tourist attractions, this region still holds plenty of charm for any and all visitors.

Possibly the most famous town is Aberystwyth which offers much more than a tongue-twister! A journey into this historic place will hold plenty of magic for all and no more so than at the National Library of Wales which has a refined and broad collection of texts for your interest. If you’re after some architecture then a journey to Aberystwyth Castle has plenty of intrigue with The Silver Mountain Experience equally un-missable.

To the west, a little excursion to Welshpool will hold such sights of natural wonder with there being plenty to amaze and delight.

Powis Castle was initially envisaged as a fortress and it shows with this manmade behemoth dominating the local skyline. As Welsh castles go, this has to be right up there with the grandest and there are also beautiful India treasures housed there for your interest. A historic railway and Glansevern Hall are two of the other delights that await you in this gorgeous area.

Those of you who are keen to relish some sports close to your accommodation might want to dive in to The National Whitewater Centre in Bala. Not one for the faint-hearted, this wet trek down some high slopes will leave you with an adrenaline rush as you battle the waves. Afterwards, you can’t go wrong as you unwind in the Caerau Uchaf Gardens in an attraction of relaxation for the whole family.

This isn’t all you can enjoy in mid Wales with there also being plenty of attractions along the coast but to find them out for yourself, make sure you take a trip there in the near future.
