Bala will be the place to be for all cycling enthusiasts of Wales to enjoy. This event will feature a track heading south past Bala lake, heading into Snowdonia national park, past Dolgellau, over to Dinas Mawddwy, straight down south to Pardy, making a sharp turn at Bont Dolgadfan, and up towards Llangadfan. From there you head up towards Llwydiarth, past llanwyddan, aside the lake Vyrnwy, past Eunant and back towards Bala. This is a full circuit contained within the heart of Wales, weaving in and out of Snowdonia National Park, heading past beautiful lakes, verdant woodland and striking mountains.

The town of Bala is famous for its huge, gorgeous lake. Cyclists, spectators and tourists alike will find that there are some marvellous holiday parks bala to reside in this town around this period and indeed all year around.

Wale’s awesome countryside has long been celebrated as a prime location for cyclist, who comes to the country for holidays, treks, and competitions. The roads which snake through the mountains and glaze over the gorgeous meadows are the perfect terrain for a cross country cycle tour.

The WWC (Wild Wales Challenge) is not a race, it’s not all about finishing the challenge first – it’s a traditional tourist challenge ride. Cyclists are encouraged to complete the course in generous time; there is no competitive-ness to the course, just good spirits between fellow cyclists.

Riders should note that the roads on this course are not closed, so you will have to be mindful of the traffic, and be considerate of other road users. Competitors will review full route directions, notes, and electronic timing tags, light refreshments at the start, end and stops in-between.

This is the 32nd annual WWC, which means that it has a prosperous and historic past of cyclists making their way around this fabulously handsome route, right in the heart of the Welsh Countryside.

Entry fee is only £20.
