It’s getting towards the holiday season where things start going bump in the night and

Starting off with a journey around the haunted and historic Beaumaris Castle, kids can enjoy a day of thrills as the Spooky Halloween Day kicks off on October 31st. The architecturally beautiful (yet unfinished) fort was built in the 13th century and was a highly-defensible position for King Edward I. As it was forcibly rushed into construction by two thousand men, work was mystifyingly never completed on the grand estate.
There have been many reports of creepy happenings in the grand old settlement with visitors saying they’ve felt like they’re being watched and a strange feeling of loneliness gripping them as they walk its long, narrow halls. Definitely the ideal spot for some Halloween celebrations!
Kids can enjoy a pumpkin carving activity on the day with the first 200 entrants receiving a special prize! This is a great day out for families who want to get involved in the history and horror of this historic castle.
Elsewhere, the Anglesey Sea Zoo offers its own fair share of screams and fun. Taking a break from the always great regular day out, the event on the 29th will be decidedly hair-raising for all!
Take a walk (if you dare) with the scary zombie tour guides and their ragtag bunch of underwater mischief makers. The occasion promises to be one not for the faint-hearted with darkness abounding around the usually vibrant aquarium – a torch is advised!
A brilliant idea that organisers have is to let all kids in for free if they are wearing a Halloween costume with the most authentic winning a unique prize! If you’re all tired out from jumping out of your skin, you can tuck into a buffet which has tasty food and light drinks.
