There are several main centres in Wales for the sport each with several prepared trails. They range in difficulty from those suitable for beginers to hand prepared singletrack.

Wales also boasts many cycle routes on the national cycle network, both as tranport links or as routes for cycle touring. 

There are many places across Wales who will rent you a professional mountain bike for the day and you, can mountin bike for the whole day. Mountain Biking is a great way to exercise as well as being able to see all the great scenery along the way.
